We spent years touring pet facilities from Texas to New York to get a better idea of what we wanted Animal House Hotel to be. We knew that we could be “paws and tails” above what the rest of the area had to offer, and still be competitively priced. In early 2019, we decided to move forward with making Animal House Hotel a reality. Shortly after construction began, COVID19 happened and the world as we knew it shut down, building supplies became impossible to get and what we could get, tripled in price. We lost a beloved family member to COVID19 and stopped building for almost a year. Near the end of 2020 we slowly resumed construction actives. In May 2022 Jen retired from teaching and began working full time on completing the construction of Animal House Hotel.
We are always prepared for any pet's needs and ensure that your pet will receive the best care and love. Their happiness and care is our priority and we strive to provide a service we would want our own pets to receive.

Jennifer grew up with Brittany Spaniels that were working dogs but she snuck out to the kennels any chance she got, When she joined the military, she was unable to have any pets while living in the barracks, overseas. As soon as she returned to civilian life she immediately got an AKC registered Labrador Retriever and raised several litters over the years. Jennifer currently owns a rescued Pyrenees/Red Heeler mix that was living in a wooded area next to her job. She spent several days trying to win her trust to get close enough to rescue her. Her love of animals knows no bounds. She is dedicated to making sure each pet at Animal House Hotel is loved and cared for as if it was her own.
